Faculty Required

The National School of Public Policy (NSPP) is the premier institution, established under the National School of Public Policy Ordinance. 2002 providing in service training, instructions, research and education to officers of the Federal and Provincial Governments at strategic level and to senior executives of corporate / private sector for capacity budding The Faculty is responsible for imparting latest knowledge and skills with focus on evidence based decision making and problem solving. II is an equal opportunity institution.

The National School of Public Policy and its Units require Faculty from amongst the regularly appointed officers belonging to the federally constituted occupational groups or services and through initial appointment in Management Pay Scales in following manner for the following positions;

The directing staff d the School shall be pasted through the selection committee from amongst the regularly appointed officers belonging to the federally constituted occupational groups or services against fifty percent of the posts in management pay scales.

The remaining fifty percent posts shall be filled through initial appointment in management pay scales through the selection committee from amongst the persons from private sector or academia duty observing regional and provincial and other quotas prescribed by the Government.

(a)  Ph.D or M.Phil Degree in Public Policy. Economics. Finance, Management. Public Administration. HRM, law, Strategic and Security Studies. History. Political Science, International Relations or other relevant subjects of social sciences from ICC recognized institution.

(b)  22 years Research / Training / Teaching experience in recognized framing / teaching / research institution.

For Serving Civil Servants

22 years professional experience in pubic sector in BS-l 7 and above or equivalent with NMC or NS&WC qualified.

50% through initial appointment and 50% by

appointment from amongst serving civil servants

40-55 for initial appointment No age limit for serving will servants.

Directing Staff for SMC (MP-II)

 

Initial Appointment

(a) M.Phil or 1st Class Master’s Degree in Public Poky, Economics, Finance, Management. Pubic Administration, HRM. Urn. Strategic and Security Studies. History. Political Science. International Relations or other relevant subjects of social sciences from HEC recognized institution.

(b) 17 years Research / Training  Teaching experience in recognized training / teaching / research institution.

For Serving Civil Servants

17 years professional experience in pubic sector n BS-17 and above or equivalent with SMC qualified.

50% through initial appointment and 50% by appointment of serving civil servants

35-50 for initial appointment no age limit for serving civil servants

(a)   1“ Class Master’s Degree in Public Petty, Economics, Finance. Management, Public Administration. HRM, Law, Strategic and Security Studies. History. Political Science, International Relations or other relevant subjects of social sciences from HEC recognized institution.

(b)  12 years Research / Training / Teaching experience in

recognized training / teaching /research institution.

For Serving Civil Servants

12 years professional experience in public sector m BS-17 and above or equivalent with MCMC qualified.

50% through initial appointment and 50% by appointment of serving  servants

30-45 for initial appointment No age limit tor serving rail servants
