Competitive Examination (CSS) 2008

The Federal Public Service Commission will depending on number of candidates, hold the Competitive Examination (CSS) 2008 for recruitment to posts in BS-17 under the Federal Government from Saturday, 15th March 2008 simultaneously at the following 17 Centres:

• Islamabad
• Rawalpindi
• Lahore
• Karachi
• Peshawar
• Quetta
• Multan
• Faisalabad
• Gujranwala
• Sargodha
• Hyderabad
• Sukkur
• Abbottabad
• D.I.Khan
• Muzaffarabad
• Gilgit
• Skardu

Eligibility: Both male and female candidates having at least 2nd Class Bachelor's Degree and within 21-28 years age on 1st Jan, 2008 will be eligible for this examination. The upper age limit will be relaxed by two years upto age of 30 years as per rules.

Rules and Syllabus: Rules, Syllabus and Application Forms will be available in due course of time.

Important Note:

(i) 10% vacancies are meant for female candidates in addition to their participation in open merit.

(ii) Syllabus for CSS-2008 Examination will unless amended, remain the same as per CSS examination of 2007 available at FPSC website.
