Comsats Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) invites applications from qualified Pakistani nationals for appointment as Professors in various disciplines. The selected Professors having an international standing in respective field with strong entrepreneurial & interpersonal skills, the vision to initiate and manage change and success in a position requiring academic leadership and management at a senior level will have an opportunity for consideration as Dean of Faculty and posting at Islamabad.

As Dean of Faculty, the successful candidate would be expected to guide the Faculty in fulfilling its commitment to teaching, research, and service to various segments of society, and to make a significant contribution to the governance of the Institute. A demonstrated record of scholarly accomplishments consistent with appointment to full Professor at Universities and Degree Awarding Institutes at par with HEC's criteria is a pre-requisite:

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

PhD from an HEC recognized institution in the relevant field with 15 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization OR 10 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization: and 12 research publications in internationally abstracted journals recognized by the HEC, with at least publications in last five years.

Maximum Age: 50 years

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

PhD from an HEC recognized institution in the relevant field with 12 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university or 12 professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization out of which 5 years must be teaching experience: and 08 research publications in HEC/PEC recognized journals.

Maximum Age: 50 years

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

PhD from an HEC recognized institution in the relevant field with 15 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization OR 10 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization: OR MS (Foreign) or M.Phill or equivalent degree in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university with 17 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization: with outstanding and substantial level of professional art activity and national or international contribution to the development of art and Design in general, demonstrated by at least 8 exhibitions at national or international level with two or more than two new works in each exhibition or evidence of equal number of visual communication campaigns designed and published or equivalent work in any other discipline of art and design as specified in the research criteria.
