Government of Punjab has launched rail-based rapid mass transit & transportation system in major cities of the province. The Lahore Repaid Mass Transit System (LRMTS) being first of such ventures shall comprise an integrated strategic network of four lines about 37 km long with 82 stations.

Government of Punjab intends to established an independent organization for control and management of the proposed rail-based mass transit system and operations in major urban cities of Punjab. In this regard, services are required from an internationally recognized law firm of Pakistan fully conversant with drafting statutes and comprising a strong team of competent lawyers having wide experience in evolving regulatory framework preferably for infrastructure projects including legal facilitation and land legal provisions for the proposed Authority.

The Consultant will be sealed as per Consultant Selection Guidelines issued by the Planning & Development Department under the Quality Based Selection (QBS) mode. The guidelines are available on the following websites:

The interested legal consulting are invited to submit Technical and Financial Proposals as per requirements of the RFP up to the 25th September, 2007 till 1:00 Pm in the office of undersigned.
