Sustainable Development of Walled City of Lahore Project is an initiative of the Government of the Punjab, funded by the Government of the Punjab, funded by the Government of the Punjab and the World Bank, with the objective of regenerating the Walled City for its viable adaptive re-use, up gradation of its civic amenities, Preservation and conservation of cultural heritage and monuments, developing tourist facilities and economics &  Social development.

Positions of Interns in IT and Accounting are available in the Project Sustainable Development of walled City Lahore (SDWCL), Planning & Development Department, Government of the Punjab. The selected Manager Unit (PMU), under the directions of the Director General as per the following details.

Name of Post Job description, qualification etc.

1. Information Technology Intern:

The selected candidates will be required as Intern to:

i. Assist the I.T. Manager / I.T. Professional of the SDWCL in I.T. related tasks.

ii. Assist in installation & maintenance of the IT equipment in PMU-SDWCL.

iii. Assist in network monitoring.

iv. Assist in the software and website developments.

Assisting the PMU authorities in the above areas of professional work or any other work assigned by the Director General.

Academic Qualification:

Four years BCS / BBIT from HEC recognized institution. The candidate having Master's degree will be preferred.

Research / Studies / Practice:

Additional certification in any or all of these areas would be an additional credit.

Stipend:

Market driven, competitive and negotiable upto Rs. 25,000 per month. The stipend shall be commensurate with qualification and  experience of the candidates.

2. Accounting Intern:

Job Description:

The selected candidates will be required as Intern to:

i. Assist the PMU Authorities in implementation of the prescribed targets in the field of accountancy.

Academic Qualification:

C.A. Inter / B.Com / BBA in Finance, preference will be given to post graduates in Commerce and Finance.

Stipend:

Market driven, competitive and negotiable upto Rs. 25,000/- per month. The stipend shall be commensurate with qualification and experience of the candidate.

Professional skills:

The candidates must possess the following skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication sills.

• Computer literacy (experience in Microsoft Office and Internet)

General:

Creative, imaginative, ingenious and highly motivated candidates should apply.

Nationality :

The position is open to Pakistan as well as non-Pakistani candidates who are willing to reside and work in Pakistan.
