Expression of Interest 

OPERATION, MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF WEIGH STATIONS INSTALLED IN PUNJAB REGION

1. National Highway Authority (NHA), intends to invite Expression of Interest (EOI) from the reputable Companies / Firms for Operation, Management and Maintenance (OM&M) of Weigh Stations Installed on N-5, in Punjab Region on the following location:

a. Name of Location: Mullan Mansoor (NB & SB), N-5

Type of Equipment: SSWIM

b. Name of Location: Sangjani (NB & SB), N-5

Type of Equipment : SSWIM

c.  Name of Location: Eminabad (NB & DB), N-5

Type of Equipment : SSWIM

d. Name of Location: Pattoki (NB & SB), N-5

Type of Equipment : SSWIM

2. The interested Companies / Firms are requested  to submit the following document required for pre-qualification for Operation, Management and Maintenance (OM&M) of weigh stations installed at above mentioned location.

I. Company Firms Profile (Name . Address, Telephone, Fax, E-Mail, National Tax No. & Registered Office in Pakistan) (Marks 10)

II. Relevant experience in Operation, Management  & Maintenance of facilities like weigh stations, Toll Plazas, Fine Collection etc (Marks 20)

III. Personal capabilities with bio-data of key personnel duty signed (Marks 15)

IV. Average annual turnover over the last three years (Marks 30)

V. Method statement that how the company will proceed with the said task, your own understanding of the services required under the project, suggestions for further improvement and   cogent reasons why your performance will be better than the rest, if work is awarded to you (Marks 15)

Vi. Valid Registration with PEC (Marks 5)

VII. Litigation History (Marks 5)

Note: If any information given in the application of any firms is found incorrect then pre-qualification will be cancelled without notice.

3. The Expression of Interest (EIO) shall be received in sealed envelopes clearly marked & signed by applicants in the office of General Manager (Operations) up till 1400 hours on 10th August 2007.

4. National Highway Authority reserves the right accept or reject any or all of the proposals without assigning any reason (s) therefore and will bear no liability whatsoever for any expenses incurred by participants in connection therewith.
