Invitation For Proposal for Consultancy Services

The Project Management Unit (PMU) Lahore Ring Road, Government of Punjab invites International and Domestic consultants and / or joint ventures (Highway / Transportation) to bid for providing consultancy services for Feasibility Study and Route Selection of Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop.

The Project involves Route Alignment Study (alternate analysis), Traffic Modeling, Cost Analysis, Environmental Impact Assessment and Study of re-settlement issues of approximately 25-30 kms of controlled access dual carriageway along with service roads on each side. This will make the Southern Loop of Lahore Ring Road Project. A brief scope of work is as given below:

i) 25-30 km dual carriageway road with services roads on each side

ii) 5-6 interchanges

iii) 7 bridges (canal (railways crossing)

The consultancy services will be in one package and in accordance with the requirement of work and will be selected as per Planning & Development (P&D) Department Consultant Selection Guideline under Fast Track method , A copy of these Guidelines is available on the P & Department website www.pndpunjab.gov.pk

A Request for Proposal is available at the Project Director PMU Lahore Ring Road, at 37-A-1 Peco Road, Township Lahore, or on above mentioned website in the advertisement tab under Consultant Enrolment System (CES)

The firms are required to pick up REF or downloaded form the website not later than August 5, 2007. The Proposals must be submitted not later than August 13, 2007.
