Micronutrient Initiative (www.micronutrient.org) is an international not-for-profit organization with its Head Quarters in Ottawa , Canada and Regional in Asia and Africa ,Our commitments is to stimulate and support national actions to eliminate micronutrient , assuring universal coverage and sustained impact on people's health and well-being. Micronutrient Initiative (MI) is looking for highly motivated professionals to fill positions of seven Zonal Universal Salt Iodization (USI) Extenders based at Khushab , Gujranwala , Faisalabad , Lahore, Multan, Bannu and Islamabad Zones.

Each Extender would be responsible for 4-6 surrounding districts and would work closely with key  stakeholders like Department of Health (DoH) , Salt Sector and other partners to lay the ground work so that the current Salt lodization Program is successfully implemented in the target districts. S/he will be responsible for logistics supply to the salt producers / processors, including Potassium locate, drip-feed ,repaid test kits etc, support district level activities for improving of iodized salt at the factory & coverage at household levels ,maintain quality assurances and monitoring production , storage and market levels , build capacity of DoH and Salt Sector , conduct repaid assessment of salt processors in the assigned  zone focusing on the potential recipients of projects support and update the information collected during the recent survey on salt sector.

Qualification:

Bachelors / Masters degree from a recognized university. At least 3 years experience in Development Sector, Industry and Marketing will be a plus , Excellent interpersonal problem solving , report writing , self initiative , presentation and networking skills and able to work independently and as a team member. These are full time positions requiring extensive field activities . Fluency in spoken and written English and Urdu and computer skills are mandatory.
