Description : ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS  (INDIVIDUAL)
 1. The government of Pakistan has received a loan (LN 7380-Pak) from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) towards the cost of Punjab Municipal Services Improvenment Project (PMSIP), and intends to use part of the proceeds of this loan to hire services of individual consultant(s) for environmental & social impact assessment of PMSIP sub-projects. The project will be implemented through the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC).
 2. The services mentioned above are required for infrastructure development sub-projects for the TMAs in Municipal Sector including, Water Supply, Sewerage and Sanitation, Drainage, Solid Waste Management, Roads, Parks, Street Lighting, Slaughter House, firefighting etc.
 3. PMDFC intends to engage individual consultant(s) who have expertise in the above mentioned fields. Interested consultants having relevant experience and qualification to perform the services are requested to send their expression of interest that should include the following:
 (i) Detailed CV including briefly:
 a) List of similar assignments undertaken during the last 5 years, providing name of client, value of contract and starting and completion date of the assignments.
 b) List of similar assignments in hand and expected date of completion.
 c) Experience of assignments undertaken according to the World Bank guidelines will be an added advantage.
 d) Undertaking that the consultant is not a permanent employee of any Govt. or Semi Govt. Organization.
 4. The consultant(s) will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank Guidelines: "Selection & Employment of Consultants by World Banks Borrowers", May 2004.
 5. Interested consultants may obtain further information and and contact General Manager (P&E) PMDFC on any working day during office hours (08:00 am to 4:00 pm).
