sheikh Zayed Islamic Centres established in Pakistan by the late president of UAE and named after him are engaged in the promotion of teaching after him are engaged in the promotion of teaching and research in Islamic Studies, Arabic and related discipline.

1. Director, Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

2. Director, Sheik Zayed Islamic Center, University of Karachi.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The candidates must be less than 56 years on the last ate of filling applications. Relaxation as per rules in case of deserving candidates will be admissible.

They should posses:
a) PhD ( Islamic studies / Arabic Language / relevant field) from the University/ institution recognizes by HEC
b) 15- years teaching / research experience (with at least 8 years experience at the post -PhD Level) in HEC recognized University or post-graduate institution / national or international organization.
c) 15 research publications (with at least 4 publications during last 5 years in journals of international repute.
d) Administrative experience in a university / national or international organization e.g. Chairmanship of a department of a University , or Deanship of a Faculty of a University, or Acting Directorship of a centre etc. will be given preference.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

2. Appointment may be made on contract / deputation basis initially for a period of two years extendable for further two years, subject to satisfactory performance.

3. In-service candidates should apply through proper channel.

4. The Government reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
