Recruitment against 250 VACANT posts of stenographers (BS-12) in S&GAD Punjab Civil Secretariat on Regular basis in the Following Manner.

Post Allocation: Open Merit (Male & Female) 219 (88 % of total)

Disabled 005 (2 % of total)

Female 013 (5 % of total)

013 (5 % of total)

Total Posts 250

Applications are invited from those candidates who meet with the following requirements:-

Qualification:

i)                    Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.

ii)                  A speed of 70 W.P.M. in shorthand and 35 W.P.M. typewriter or on computer speed on

iii)                Computer literate in MS office.

Note: Preference shall be given to the candidates who know Urdu Shorthand at a speed of 60 W.P.M and typewriting at a speed of 25 W.P.M.

Scale: BPS-12

Age: 18 to 25 years General age relaxation according to the government Notification No. SOR-I(S7GAD) 9-36/81 dated 04. 11. 2006 for the period of 05 years = 30 years on the closing date.

Eligibility: male and female Domiciled in any District of the Province of the Punjab.

General Provisions:

2.           Eligibility of candidates shall be determined on the basis of his / test fee shall be paid in any branch of UBL, MCB or ABL on prescribed Bank Challan form.

3.           Test fee shall be paid in any branch of UBL, MCB or ABL on prescribed bank Challan Form.

4.           Roll NO. Slip and test center details shall be dispatched to candidates by NTS at least one week before the fest date.

5.           Only short listed candidates may be called for interview.

6.           Females are encouraged to apply (5% quota reserved for Females).

7.           Last date for submission of Application form is 6^th October, 2010.

8.           application forms complete in all respect along with original fee deposit slip / challan amounting to Rs. 750/- and all required documents (mentioned on forms) should reach:-

9.           No TA / DA will be paid for test / interview.
