Irrigation and Power Department, an equal opportunity organization, invites applications from suitable Candidates domiciled in the Punjab and possessing relevant qualification/experience for Project Management Office, PISIP in Irrigation & Power Department, Lahore for the following Posts.

 

1. Deputy Director Monitoring (1 Post)
Maximum age 54 years, Pay Rs. 70,454/- (in case of contract employee) OR in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of BPS-18 and Project Allowance of Rs. 25,000/- as admissible under FD Policy letter No. FD.SR. 1/9-20/2006, dated 30-11-2006 and 07-02-2007.

 

·        Should be B.Sc / BS/BE (Civil Engineering) OR M.Sc./MS (Civil Engineering) from a recognized University with hands on experience eon Project Planning & Monitoring.

·        Should have experience of more than 20 years OR 18 years in case of MSc./MS, in Planning, construction supervision and monitoring of water sector projects as well as big civil engineering projects on canals.

·        Should have experience of monitoring of big projects executed under JBIC/World Bank Procedures.

·        Should have Knowledge of latest Engineering codes of practice.

·        Should be computer literate having experience of related Engineering, Planning and Monitoring software.

·        Should possess Knowledge of JBIC contract conditions.

2. Deputy Director Institutional Development (1 Post)

Maximum age 45 years, Pay Rs. 70,454/- (in case of contract employee) OR in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of BPS-18 and Project Allowance3 of Rs. 25,000/- as admissible under FD Policy letter No. FD.SR. 1/9-20/2006, dated 30-11-2006 and 07-02-2007.

·        Should have Master degree in Social Sciences (Rural Sociology, Sociology, Social Work), Agriculture Economics OR anthropology from a recognized University.

·        Should have experience of more than 7 years in the field of social and community mobilization.

·        Should also have experience of organizational development issue and knowledge of accounts matters, monitoring of performance and preparation of performance reports etc.

·        Should have excellent communication skills in English, Urdu and Punjabi languages.

·        Should be computer literate having experience of related Planning and monitoring software.

3. Assistant Engineer Procurement (1 Post)
Maximum age 45 years, Pay Rs. 58,033/- (in case of contract employee) OR in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of BPS-17 and Project Allowance of Rs. 20,000/- as admissible under FD Policy letter No. FD.SR.1/9-20/2006, dated 30-11-2006 and 07-02-2007.

  • Should be B.Sc / BS/BE (Civil / Mech. Engg.) from a recognized University.
  • Should have experience e of more than 5 years in planning and procurement of water sector projects.
  • Should have experience of procurement of works executed under JIBC/IDA procurement procedures.
  • Should have experience in examination of tender documents and Bid Evaluation Reports under JBIC/IDA Projects.
  • Should be computer literate with command on related office management works.

4. Assistant Engineer Monitoring (1 Posts)
Maximum age 45 years, Pay Rs. 58,033/- (in case of contract employee) OR in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of BPS-17 and Project Allowance of Rs. 20,000/- as admissible under FD Policy letter No. FD.SR. 1/9-20-2006, dated 30-11-2006 and 07-02-2007.

  • Should be B.Sc/BS/BE (Civil) from a recognized University.
  • Should have general experience of more than 5 years in planning and monitoring of water sector projects.
  • Should have experience in planning and progress monitoring of JBIC/IDA sponsored projects/big projects.
  • Should be computer literate with experience in project planning and management techniques.
  • Should have experience in compilation of periodic progress reports of engineering Projects.

5. Manager Administration (1 Post)
Maximum age 45 years, Pay Rs. 34,323/- (in case of contract employee) OR in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of BPS-17 and Project Allowance of Rs. 20,000/- as admissible under FD Policy letter No. FD.SR.1/9-20/2006 dated 30-11-2006 and 07-02-2007.

  • Should be MBA / Post Graduate Degree in Human Resource from a recognized institution.
  • Should have general experience of more than 5 years in office management.
  • Should possess professional command I operating MS Office, Power Point & Excel.
  • Should have good experience and knowledge of dealing with human resources and office administrative matters.
  • Should have experience in dealing with general purchase affairs of the office.

 

Note:

  1. The above posts are on Contract basis for the period of 1 year, but are likely to be extended upto 3 years. Applications on prescribed from (specimen given) should reach the Head PMO, Punjab Irrigation System Improvement Project (PISIP), Irrigation & Powr Department, Old Anarkali, Lahore latest by November 24, 2009 during office hours.
  2. Department will not communicate with any candidate other than those who will be short-listed.
  3. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for Test/Interview.
  4. All eligible employees of Irrigation & Power Department, Punjab may also apply for any above post.
  5. In case of selection of Department candidate, appointment will be made by transfer.
  6.
