GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

7 Portable X-ray system for use outside the Hospital

Tuberculosis Coalition for Technical  Assistance , TBCTA, represented by the KNCV office in Islamabad, Pakistan.

KNCV Office: KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation officially opened its KNCV office in Pakistan on July 1st , 2009. KNCV is the lead coordinating partner for TB CAP. The Tuberculosis Control Assistance Program (TB CAP) is a  USAID cooperative agreement (2005-2010) that was awarded to TBCTA. The Tuberculosis Coalition for Technical Assistance (TBCTA) is a partnership between major international organizations working on TB Control. The collaborating partners in Pakistan are as follows.

  • World Health Organization (WHO)

  • International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union)

  • Japan Anti-Tuberculosis Association (JATA)

  • Management Sciences for Health (MSH)

KNCV, assisted in this matter by "het NIC BV", hereinafter called NIC in zwolle, the Netherlands has been authorized by KNCV , Headquarters in the Haque, the Netherlands, to execute the procurement for 7 Portable X-ray systems for TB prevalence survey in Pakistan.

Funding will be provided by US-Aid according to the Agreement with the TBCTA.

The Tender documents are based on Section III of the bidding document " Procurement of Goods" of the World Bank and Inter American Development Bank, and the US-Aid Directives on the coordination of procedures for the award of US-Aid funded projects

The tender documents comprise:

  • Description of the organization calling for tenders

  • Conditions for Tender

  • Submission of Tenders

  • Qualification guidelines with the qualification criteria

  • Evaluation with the awarding criteria

  • USER Requirement Specification URS

  • Draft Contract

Interested Companies are invited to submit their expression of interest to KNCV office in Islamabad.

After receipt of the expression of interest , KNCV Office shall provide all attendants with the Tender Documents . The information submitted with the Tender documents shall be used for evaluation and contract award. The evaluation and contract award shall be set-up and performed in Islamabad by a joint local team of KNCV, NTP, USAID, TBCTA (TB CAP) and a Procurement Consultant of the NIC BV in Zwolle , the Netherlands.

After the evaluation of all information submitted , a recommendation of award will be prepared for the awarding of the contract for the supply of the 7 Portable X-ray systems.

The selection and contract awarding criteria are specified in the Tender documents.
