The Role

The role involves ensuring appropriate access to business information and maintaining confidentially of customers and employees in conformity with organizational policies.

Job Description:

• Serve as an information security consultant to the organization also covering new technologies and regulatory issues.
• Document security policies and procedures created by the Information Security Committee.
• Train staff and initiate and promote activities to create Information Security awareness within the organization.
• Assess information security risks and conduct security audits.
• Report inconsistencies between security policies and on ground implementation to Information Systems Department.
• Liaise with department heads to resolve information security issues.
• Coordinate the activities of the Information Security Committee and prepare disaster recovery plans.

The Profile

The ideal candidate should:

• Hold a masters degree in Information Technology, Telecommunication Management or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Have 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Have a grip over the areas of IT Governance, Security and System Audit.
• Possess strong analytical, communication and decision making skills.
• Be well versed with policy making and managing projects.
• Be innovative and an energetic team player.
