Lahore Stock Exchange is the first automated stock of the country priding its Information Technology initiatives and computing facilities. It has aggressive plans to expand its systems and services across the global. LSE has a dynamic and innovative IT team of approximately 50 personnel serving the needs of local and international capital markets.

LSE is seeking a dynamic Chief Technology / Information Officer with strong academic and professional record of achievement. This positions reports directly to Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer.

Role and Responsibilities

• Development of It plans strategies and aligning business and IT goals
• Development and implementing IT Policies and Procedures
• Timely response to requests for information service and assistance.
• Evaluating alternate technology solutions
• Preparing and executing IT budgets
• Procurement of IT equipment and external entities like NCCP, CDC & SECP
• Managing multiple IT vendors

Skills Required

• Candidates must have at least a masters degree in Computer Science from a reputable institution.
• 10 years of hands on experience in IT industry with a minimum 5 years experience of IT management mission criteria environment.
• Knowledge and experience of working within the capital markets will be an added advantage
• Well versed with complex local and wide area network environment
• Experience of carrying out system operations in mission critical environment
• Knowledge of developing real-time software systems and software quality assurance
• Excellent verbal written communication and presentation skills
• Team building and employee motivated skills
• Prompt decision making and negotiation skills
