PRE-QUALIFICATION / FREIGHT EMPTY/LOADED CONTAINERS

Freight Business Unit intends to sell its spare capacity to transport empty/loaded containers and dry cargo in open and covered wagons, preferably in block train loads (1440 tonnes) from all operationally suitable Railway stations of Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Multan Railway Divisions to Karachi Port Area on concessional  freight in the down direction.

Interested parties are requested to send their proposals alongwith the proposed volume of traffic to to be offered in a financial year to the undersigned within 15 days for consideration. Subject to acceptance Freight Business Unit will enter into Agreements with pre-qualified parties. Request for provision of Railway land for stacking purpose, if available , for loading / unloading will be considered as per policy in vogue. The applications will be received by the 15 Feb 08 for final pre-qualification of the parties.
