PRE-QUALIFICATION OF BUILDING CONTRACTORS

The National Logistics Corporations invites sealed applications for pre-qualification of contractors for the construction of Border Terminal at Wagha A modem  terminal of international standard appropriately equipped with essential facilities like , Customer  & Management Office , Scanner Building , Weighbridge , Immigration Lounges , Quarantine Laboratories , Bank ,Post Office , Restaurant , Mosque , EPB  Display Centre, RCC Pavement Sheds and Leading Ramps etc will be built. The projects entails an approximate expenditure of Rs 2 billion Reputed Firms / Companies registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in "No LIMIT" category and having adequate experience of constricting multistoried building may send their applications containing following relevant details to the NLC at the address given at the bottom on or before                     20th November 2007.

1. Full name of the Firm , permanent address , telephone no, Fax and Email address of head office and any branch office in Lahore.
2. Organization Setup, Consortium , Memorandum & Articles of Association / Registered Partnership Deed and the date of establishment of firm etc.
3. List and bio data of the Principal & Director  / Partners pernment technical / supervisory staff and other key personnel alongwith individual registration certifications of engineers with Pakistan Engineering Council.
4. Details of similar work executed during last ten years. Give name and address of clients, locations, cost of project and completion period etc.
5. Similar work in hand. Give name and address of clients locations , cost of project present progress and date of completion.
6. List of plant , equipment and other construction machinery owned by the firm which the firm intends to make available for this work.
7. Copy of license of construction from Pakistan Engineering Council in category " NO LIMIT."
8. Copies of license of accounts for the last three years duly certified by a Chartered Accountant.
9. Proof of registration with income tax department (NTN Certificate) supported by last three years returns.
10. Recent bank account statements in the name of the firm (January 2007 to September 2007) and certificate of financial stability from scheduled banks in Pakistan.
11. Enlistment record with government / semi government and other agencies Also include an Affidavit / agency / organization.
12. List and brief of arbitration litigation cases if any in case of no such cases , enclose an Affidavit that the firm is not involved in any arbitration case.

The NLC shall reserve the right to independently verify the information submitted by each application firm / company. The NLC also reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason incomplete application will not be considered.
